Monday, Monday

I can't believe it's more than 5 days since I blogged!!!  It's been such a busy week.  We had TWO vacation bible camps (VBC) for the kids.  One at our church, Trinity, in the morning and one at another church at night.  And doing errands in between has made the week fly by! 


Since my parents took my two older kids up north with them to their cabin, I'm getting a little reprieve.  Last night, I had my godson spend the night - he's Noah's best friend.  So, today, I only have 3 kids - a little break. ;)

Tuesday after Father's Day

Did everyone enjoy Father's Day?  We went to my brother's for a cook-out.  Yum!!!  I made some digiscrap pages for my dad and my husband.  I  printed the pages out and framed them.

I made these pages with kits/packs from Alissa Jones' PickAPaper Designs.  I used Summer Memories Cardstock pack, Summer Memories Patriotic paper and element packs, and Summer Memories Green Earth paper and element packs.  You can get them at Scrapbook Elements - LINK

It's the Weekend!

It's Saturday and it looks like another bright, sunny day.  And my niece's birthday party is today.  Have a great party, Hannah!

Happy Belated Birthday Paul!

Yesterday was my brother's birthday & his in-law's anniversary.  The strange coincidence is that his in-law's wedding anniversary is the day after mine (month & day, that is, not year) and their dating anniversary is the day before mine - or vice versa.  I think there' some karma or fate going on here.

Anyways, I didn't get a chance to post yesterday b/c of my youngest son's appt, grocery shopping, shopping for teacher/bus drivers' gifts & my middle son's ice cream social at school to celebrate his last day of school.  It was a long day & my feet were so sore afterwards.  I think I fell asleep on the couch.

But I did call my brother to wish him a happy birthday.

And speaking of birthdays, last year we went to celebrate my husband's frat brother's birthday.  It was very nice & a lot of fun!

Okay, it's Monday, June 14.  Syd & Jake don't have to get for school today, Noah goes in the afternoon, which means I don't have to get up to make lunches.  But Ethan wakes me up for his breakfast.  Will I ever be able to sleep in???

Last full day of School!

Well, it is for my 2 older kids.  My middle son still has next week before school gets out for the summer.  And my husband is coming home tonight.  Yeah.

Happy Birthday Dave!

Today is my husband's birthday.  So, I had the kids call him before they left for school.  But even though it was 8 am our time, it was only 7 am his time.  I guess we woke him up!  hehe

Scrapping news - Pasko Creations just came out with this beautiful kit "Chantilly."  Here's a couple of layouts I did with the kit.  One page I sort of redid, adding more feathers.  I don't know which is better.  What do you think?

Circle of Life Scraps did a collab kit with Designs by JLo called "Family Reunion."  Here's a couple of pages I made with the kit.  As  you can see, I used it to scrap our Thanksgiving photos.  You can use it for more than just reunion get togethers.

First Saturday in June!

Well, it was nice having my husband home for a week.  But the week is ending.  He'll be flying out to St. Louis early Monday Morning.  Meanwhile, my two younger sons are into Handy Manny big time.  We've been watching the same video over and over.  And my youngest picked out the Handy Manny tool set as his potty training present.

Luckily, Pick A Paper by Alissa Jones has a new kit out "Fix It Right" that saves the day!  It is sooo cute!
