Manic Monday

Good afternoon everyone!  I hope you all had a good weekend.  I'm fighting a cold & so are my 2 youngest.  Ugh.  I'm feeling better today.  I overdid Thursday.  Took all 4 kids to my daughter's volleyball game & with sitting on the bleachers, I started to feel achy & crampy.  I couldn't stay through the game and had to leave early.  Thank goodness my neighbor across the street has a daughter also on the team; she drove Sydney home after the game.

Today, my 2 older kids are home from school.  School is closed so the staff can attend the funeral of one of the former teachers - Mr. Palmeter.  I pray for comfort for his family.

Wacky Wednesday

Sorry I haven't been around much lately.  Been busy between school & kids.  Sydney made the junior varsity volleyball team at school, so there's practice 4 days a wk to throw into my schedule.

And this week, I had another surgical procedure.  I hope it works this time - I'm tired of being anemic (no pun intended).  Another thing - I'm anemic again, so I have to start up the iron IV treatments.  And my laptop isn't working, so less computer time on top of all that.

Ethan's first real day of preschool!

I know Ethan sorta started preschool last week.  But that was more of meet and greet than actual preschool.  It was only for one hour & the parents stayed with the kids.  I think it was more for the parents to see what they do at preschool & for the kids to feel comfortable for their first time in the room.

I hope everyone enjoyed their holiday weekend.    We went up North for a bit; got to see my husband's niece and her new baby!  So cute!!!  But back to school tomorrow.  Another busy week ahead.

First Day of September!  I can't believe it's here already.  Today is the first full day of school for my 2 older kids.  And the first day of tryouts for the sports teams at school.
